John Breslin SC

John Breslin is a senior counsel specialising in banking and financial services law, as well as insolvency and restructuring. John has acted as counsel for banks, including the Central Bank of Ireland, and other financial institutions in numerous leading cases before the Superior Courts in Ireland and the European Court of Justice. He has written extensively on banking law, including Ireland’s leading legal textbook (co-authored with Elizabeth Corcoran BL), and has lectured at University College Dublin and the King’s Inns.
