Patrick O’Reilly is a Senior Counsel at the Bar of Ireland whose practice in commercial and financial services law has included (as lead Counsel) many of the fundamental financial/banking law cases decided in Ireland since the GFC. Some examples of same are McCaughey v IBRC Ltd ( High and Supreme Court) Bank of Ireland v O’Malley (Supreme Court) [2019] IESC and Bank of Ireland v Murray (Supreme Court) [2026] IESC”.
