Ailbhe O'Neill is a senior counsel with extensive experience in financial services regulation. Ailbhe was recently appointed by the Supreme Court to argue an appeal concerning the interpretation of the Credit Services Directive. She has acted for the Central Bank in a number of Inquiries under the Administrative Sanctions Procedure including the Inquiry into Irish Nationwide Building Society and matters pertaining to the tracker mortgages failures at PTSB. She also appeared on behalf of the respondent in the first contested application to the High Court under the Fitness and Probity Regime.
